Our Toro Black Bull Ultra Light Youth BJJ Gi was made for kids who need a lightweight, comfortable gi that is easy to put on and get ready for class.
Instead of the heavier woven fabric found on many traditional BJJ gis, the Black Bull uses a lightweight karate-style gi fabric. Think of it as a very heavy karate gi rather than a traditional pearl-weave BJJ gi. The result is a super-light uniform that works especially well for younger kids who may not need or want the weight and bulk of a standard BJJ gi.
The pants feature an elastic waistband for easy on and off. There is also an inner drawstring so the waist can be adjusted for a more secure fit during training.

Made for Younger Grapplers
One of the biggest differences with the Black Bull is the pants. Traditional BJJ gi pants normally rely on a drawstring waist, which can be frustrating for younger kids.
The Black Bull uses an elastic waistband that makes the pants much easier to pull on and take off. Once they're on, the inner drawstring can be tightened to help keep the pants secure during class.
Super-Light Gi Construction
This is not a traditional heavy BJJ gi. The Black Bull is intentionally light, with fabric closer to what you would find in a heavy karate gi.
That makes it a good choice for kids who are just getting started in Jiu-Jitsu, younger students who find heavier gis uncomfortable, or anyone looking for a very lightweight training gi.
Toro Details
The black gi features contrasting Toro embroidery on the jacket and pants. The back of the jacket carries a larger Toro logo across the upper back, along with the LIVE TO ROLL detail near the bottom.
