Between sizes? Choose a Long size if you need additional sleeve and pant length. Choose a Husky size if you need more room through the body.
Before washing: Toro gis are approximately 98% preshrunk, but minor shrinkage can still occur. Try the gi on first to confirm the sleeve and pant length.
Care: Wash separately in cold water and hang dry to protect the fit, fabric, and stitching. Never machine dry.

Primo BJJ Gi Highlights
The Toro Primo is our flagship BJJ gi, the standard we measure the rest of our gi lineup against. With a 450 GSM pearl weave jacket, 10 oz ripstop pants, and a fit designed for regular training and competition, the Primo is made for athletes who want one dependable gi they can keep reaching for.
450 GSM Pearl Weave Jacket
The Primo jacket is made from 450 GSM pearl weave cotton.
That extra weight gives the jacket structure and durability while still allowing you to move comfortably during long training sessions. It's a good option for athletes who prefer a traditional midweight gi rather than going as light as possible.
Reinforced stress areas help the jacket withstand the pulling, gripping, and repeated washing that comes with regular jiu-jitsu training.
10 oz Ripstop Pants
The Primo comes with 10 oz ripstop pants reinforced in high-stress areas.
They're built for the parts of jiu-jitsu that beat up gi pants the fastest—kneeling, guard work, wrestling, pressure passing, and scrambling.
The goal isn't to make the pants unnecessarily heavy. It's to give you a durable pair of pants that matches the more substantial feel of the 450 GSM jacket.
Built for Training and Competition
The Primo was designed as a competition-ready BJJ gi without turning it into something you'd only pull out on tournament day.
Train in it. Break it in. Get comfortable competing in the same type of gi you wear during regular rounds.
If you're entering a tournament, always check the current uniform requirements for that specific organization or event before competition day.

Needed a new IBJJF legal gi, this fit the bill. Feels comfortable and the variety of sizes are great. I’m not tall enough for A4, but A3 is usually more snug than IBJJF likes, so the A3H is great.
The quality and comfort of the Toro ‘Primo’ Gi is amazing. So much so I ordered 2 additional Gi’s!
I love the fit of the kimono and the brightness of the white! Feels great! The pants are just so big on me and I cannot seem to shrink them. It’s always been difficult to find my size. But overall it’s a wonderful new white gi. Thank you Toro!
Stays on the entire hour without needing to refit. Feels cool, absorbs sweat very well. The Gi pants belt design is sturdier than the other 2 designs I've tried. Incredibly comfortable and smooth.
Awesome customer service! Excellent quality and quick shipping time!
